The Walks are a fantastic and affordable 5 piece band who are flexible enough to be able to tailor their service to each unique event. We want every wedding we perform at to be perfect and to make them all nights to remember. Whether you want modern upbeat hits from the likes of Mark Ronson, Maroon Five and The Weeknd or classic anthems from artists like The Beatles, Ben E King and The Monkeys, The Walk’s repertoire has you covered and is guaranteed to get everyone dancing.

Standard Wedding Services

Our standard wedding services include:

  • First dance from our repertoire or played through the PA if requested
  • High quality 3,500 Watts HK PA System
  • Basic Lighting
  • Radio mics for announcements/speeches
  • A friendly, professional service from our whole team
  • Free background music played through the PA in-between set’s or access to an aux cable for your own playlists from phone’s, laptops and tablets
  • 2 hour long sets
  • A choice of music from our repertoire

 

Additional Options

Hit The Road also offer upgradable options for extra special events (may incur a small extra fee):

  • Experienced sound engineer
  • Larger PA system (7,000 watts)
  • Up to 5 requests that aren’t in our repertoire (Including first dance. Must be made prior to event)
  • An additional 30 minute set
  • Advanced lighting
  • After midnight finish
  • Arrival before 4pm

Questions or Concerns


Once you’ve decided we’re the right band for you, you can rest assured that your entertainment is in good hands. We’ll be in touch around 3 weeks before the big day to finalise the details, timings, song choices and any other queries you may have. In the run up to your event, you’ll have a dedicated event coordinator from our agency Alive Network who will be more than happy to liaise with you on any issues, questions or concerns.

What We'll Do At Your Wedding


Arrival, set up and soundcheck

We like to arrive early and aim for a minimum of two hours to load in, set up and sound check. Ideally this needs to be done before guests arrive as we will need to make some noise and it can be an irritating process. However it is necessary to get the best sound possible.


After set up & soundcheck

After setting up we can play background music through the PA system and will begin preparing ourselves for the first set. The music we put on through the PA will match the mood of the event for example if guests are eating or socialising then we will keep it to a minimum. However if guests are raring to dance then we can also provide some more upbeat music and turn it up accordingly. Our singers often find a quiet spot or go to the van to warm up ready to give great performances. However there will always be someone on hand with our equipment or nearby should you have any last minute questions or requests that we can help you with.


1st dance

Whether you opt to get us to perform your special song or we play the original through our speakers we understand how important this moment is for a lot of couples and have been fortunate to be a part of so many of them. We work exceptionally hard on getting these to the highest possible standard.

2nd live set & end of the night

We usually attempt to finish the night on a slow dance but we have come to prepare for the inevitable encore which of course we will happily oblige. After an explosive finish we will remain on hand and play music through the PA system. Should you need it for announcements and speeches it will still be available to you until midnight unless you opt for the after midnight finish. During this time we will start discreetly packing up some of the other equipment such as drum kits, guitars, amps ect. It usually takes about an hour to pack up and get everything ready to go.
